The Hackathon 2019 is a two and a half day long coding & business development competition where software programmers, developers, designers and business people come together to design and build something that will develop a solution for a challenge that the team identifies the solution for one of the three special topic areas: 1. Rural Development ( Eg; improving the quality of life and economic well-being of people living in rural areas, – Education, entrepreneurship, physical infrastructure, and social infrastructure), 2. Education and 3. Climate Change(Eg. Recycling, air pollution etc,).

HACKATHON 2019

Applications open on 26th August 2019 until midnight Yangon time on 4th October 2019. Spots are limited, so apply early. Candidates must fill out the registration form below and submit it online. All applications will be vetted by a Review Committee. Any application not meeting the criteria will be rejected. Successful candidates will be advised by email, with additional information provided to them.Register Here

PARTICIPANT LEVEL CRITERIA

GRAND PRIZE FOR ADVANCED LEVEL TEAMS
Up to 60 Lakhs per team

(Advanced Level)

Have previously programmed an app
Previously competed in hackathons
Founders of the startups are acceptable

GRAND PRIZE FOR JUNIOR LEVEL TEAMS
Up to 30 Lakhs per team

(Junior Level)

- Under age 24
- Must be students
- Non-experienced acceptable
